Fernando Avila

Fernando Avila is Prysmian Group’s Industrial Markets Sales Director in Mexico since June 2020. Fernando has over 12 years of experience in the Commercial Arena & the Energy Sector in Latin America. Fernando is a product of GE’s leadership programs, he is a passionate leader & competitor & has enjoyed a consistent record of success in sales over this span of time.

Fernando started his career at General Electric 12 years ago in the GE Power business, he then moved on to the GE Commercial Leadership Program within the GE Renewables business, holding Sales & Commercial roles in Brazil & Chile. In 2016, Fernando joined Baker Hughes and its Digital Solutions business holding increasingly important Sales & Commercial roles across Latin America within Baker Hughes, the last being Commercial Director for Latin America for Baker Hughes’ Digital Solutions business until joining Prysmian Group as of June 2020.

Fernando holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
