
Alejandra León
Alejandra León is an IHS Markit Director, specializes in the Latin America refined products and oil and gas upstream analysis, with particular focus on market fundamentals, economics, and regulation. She also has experience in international trade and industrial policy. She is based on Mexico City and joined IHS when it acquired Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA) in 2004. Alejandra is a regular contributor to the IHS Markit upstream research focused on Latin America. She is also one of the main contributors for the analysis and follow-up of Mexico Energy Reform.
Before joining IHS Ms. León collaborated on various studies in the public and private sectors in Mexico and developed particular expertise in economic, social, and statistical analysis.
León holds a degree in Economics from the National University of Mexico.
