César Ortega

Cesar Ortega is an Oil & Gas executive with more than 35 years of experience. He began his career in Colombia, working for major oil and gas companies on some of the biggest energy projects in that country’s history. He has held numerous technical, managerial and leadership positions in the industry and has worked in several world regions. Cesar joined Lewis Energy Group in 2014 as the COO, Mexico and now leads the engineering and technical teams for the company.
Cesar has a BS in Petroleum Engineering, an MBA and is a graduate of the M.I.T. Major Project Management school.
In his spare time, Cesar enjoys his family, is an avid reader of fiction and enjoys watching all sports.
